The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on cell engineering as well as in vitro and in vivo evaluations. Requirements

Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
Strong track record of publications in high-impact journals.
Self-motivated and well organized.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Be able to conduct research independently and to work collaboratively with others fellows in the lab.

Nice To Haves

Expertise in in vivo experiments, cell culture, PCR, western blotting, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques will be preferable.
Expertise in at least two of the following areas: Viral or non-viral vector-based genetic engineering, gene editing, immunoengineering, cell therapy, biomaterials, microfluidics, cancer research, animal models, and drug delivery.

Responsibilities

Keep accurate record of the experiments suitable for writing manuscripts and grant proposals.
Present the results at scientific meetings.
Participate in weekly lab meetings, Journal Clubs and common seminars within the Department.
Conduct lab work on cell engineering and nanomedicine.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
