About The Position

The Post Harvest Technician prepares medical cannabis products for distribution within TerrAscend’s Trimming and Packaging Departments. This full-time, on-site role is based at the company’s Waterfall, Pennsylvania facility. Work includes trimming and hand manicuring cannabis, creating and packaging flower and pre-roll products, and assisting with harvest and curing. The technician is expected to work efficiently, maintain quality and cleanliness, follow company and state policies and security protocols, and record inventory data.

Requirements

• Stay current with and adhere to all company and state policy regulations.
• Meet state age requirements.
• Demonstrate accountability, proactive behavior, and strong attention to detail.
• Have basic knowledge of and familiarity with cannabis.
• Be familiar with production and warehouse procedures.
• Have excellent computer, mathematics, language, and reasoning skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High level of integrity.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Timely trim and hand-manicure medical cannabis.
• Create and package medical cannabis flower and pre-roll products.
• Work quickly and efficiently while striving to increase productivity consistently.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to improve and promote quality.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the trimming and packaging room while performing other assigned duties.
• Follow daily policies and procedures, including state compliance and security and access protocols.
• Label products and record inventory data.
• Assist with the harvest and curing process of medical cannabis.
• Perform other related work as required.
