About The Position

Nirvana Cannabis is hiring a detail-oriented Post Harvest Technician to join its cultivation team. This hands-on role supports the final stages of cultivation, preparing each harvest with precision, care, and consistency while maintaining product quality, compliance, and craftsmanship from harvest through packaging. The technician works collaboratively with cultivation and packaging teams in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Meet all state requirements for cannabis industry employment.
• Able to stand or sit for long periods and perform repetitive hand motions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in environments with humidity, temperature variation, and strong odors.
• Attentive to detail and capable of precise, hands-on work.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Organized and reliable, with a strong work ethic and focus on consistency.
• Comfortable collaborating with others and communicating effectively.
• Comfortable using basic technology for tracking and data entry.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in cannabis cultivation, post-harvest processing, or agricultural production.
• Familiarity with cannabis processing, trimming, or cultivation practices.

Responsibilities

• Trim, dry, and cure cannabis flower according to company standards and state regulations.
• Handle flower carefully to preserve its structure, aroma, and trichome integrity.
• Monitor product quality, identify defects or contamination, and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate batch records for seed-to-sale compliance tracking.
• Clean and sanitize tools, work areas, and equipment daily to meet company and regulatory standards.
• Assist with sorting, labeling, and preparing flower for packaging.
• Collaborate with cultivation and packaging teams to meet production goals.
• Follow safety and compliance protocols and contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace.
