The candidate (100% research) is expected to carry out these duties: Independently completes advanced research related to microbial safety of food, particularly covering food decontamination, microbial biofilms, and antimicrobial resistance. Helps in developing fundable proposals, leading to research projects that advance current scientific knowledge. Assist other lab members accomplish their research tasks efficiently. Prepares research findings as publications in high-impact journals. Present research findings to broad audience in national and international scientific meetings, and when needed to discipline’s stakeholders. Additional Information: Required knowledge Capable of applying advanced knowledge that improves the safety of food. Ability to develop solutions to challenges that are facing the food industry, particularly in the food safety arena. Have the vision to positively impact the future of our discipline.
