About The Position

Develops and conduct original research with a focus on basic and translational NIH and Industry sponsored studies on women’s health related to the impact of diabetes and hyperglycemic memory in innate immune cells on surgical outcomes, develop and submit grant proposals for funding as Investigator to Foundations, NIH and other national funding agencies, analyzes and interprets data, writes manuscripts, articles and other publications, makes presentations at national and international meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and conduct original research with a focus on basic and translational NIH and Industry sponsored studies on women’s health related to the impact of diabetes and hyperglycemic memory in innate immune cells on surgical outcomes
  • Develop and submit grant proposals for funding as Investigator to Foundations, NIH and other national funding agencies
  • Analyzes and interprets data
  • Writes manuscripts, articles and other publications
  • Makes presentations at national and international meetings
