A postdoctoral position is available to investigate binaural spectral and temporal integration: how spectra, temporal envelopes, and spectro-temporal changes are fused and integrated between the ears, in adults with hearing aids, cochlear implants, or any combination of these devices. This position is supported for up to 3 years by an NIDCD/NIH R01 grant. The Reiss laboratory is based in the Oregon Hearing Research Center (OHRC), the Department of Otolaryngology, Oregon Health and Science University, and the successful applicant will have opportunities to interact with researchers in topics including but not limited to cochlear mechanics, inner ear development, auditory synaptopathy, auditory brainstem processing, and auditory cortex (for more information about the OHRC, see http://www.ohsu.edu/ohrc/).
