About The Position

Research performed is the studying of stem cell and organoid biology, neurodegenerative disease with an emphasis on mitochondrial dysfunction and non-coding RNAs. The research will integrates human iPSC-derived models and mouse systems, and a translational focus toward clinically relevant therapies. Research will utilize electrophysiology as well as molecular biology workflows; comfort with bioinformatics/omics (e.g., scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq) and AI-assisted data analysis in addition to familiarity with mitochondrial assays, live-cell imaging, or high-content/automated analysis.

Requirements

  • Professional degrees in Biomedical Engineering, Neurobiology, or Neurosciences.
  • 0+ years of related experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with human iPSCs, directed differentiation, and/or cerebral organoids.
  • Electrophysiology skills (e.g., patch-clamp, MEA).
  • Proficiency with molecular biology workflows.
  • Comfort with bioinformatics/omics (e.g., scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq) and AI-assisted data analysis.
  • Familiarity with mitochondrial assays, live-cell imaging, or high-content/automated analysis.
