The Post Doctoral Scholar will implement clinical interventions with people with cancer. The primary study involves the implementation of a combined mHealth-telehealth symptom cluster (sleep, worry-anxiety, fatigue, depression) intervention for people with advanced cancer. This study will also examine the effectiveness of this intervention and the immune and hormonal biomarkers that affect symptom clustering. The second study involves a brief telehealth intervention with people with pancreatic cancer. The Post Doctoral Scholar will collaborate with Dr. Wells-Di Gregorio on manuscripts, grants, and presentations. Additional responsibilities will include data analyses, collaboration with biomedical labs, and teaching/supervision of research staff. This position requires a clinical psychologist postdoctoral fellow (or an individual eligible for licensure as a clinical psychologist) to fulfill the responsibilities outlined in the grant. Postdoctoral researchers have the option to obtain additional clinical hours toward licensure if desired.
