The interdisciplinary lab of Dr. Peixuan Guo at The Ohio State University seeks Ph.D scientists in biophysics to work on RNA protein interactions, RNA for ATP binding and ATP hydrolysis, RNA nanotechnology, RNA structure and function, TIRF imaging, optical tweezers, RNA motility, RNA dynamics, RNA therapeutics, nucleic acid chemistry, cancer mRNA-vaccines, RNA delivery, protein regulation by noncoding RNA, molecular biology, biotechnology, RNA motility, RNA dynamics, biochemistry, or protein/RNA structural computation. We aim to train and develop the next generation of scientific leaders and the workforce to translate innovative research and RNA nanotechnology into applications and therapeutics. The post-doctoral scholar will apply modern technologies to chemically modify RNA nanoparticles or mRNA for in vivo imaging and to deliver RNA in vivo for disease treatment and cancer prevention.
