The successful candidate will contribute to the design, synthesis, and optimization of novel nucleoside analogs and small molecules as potential antiviral agents. The role provides advanced research training under a Principal Investigator to build professional skills and research independence. The appointment is temporary and may last up to three years, with yearly renewal based on satisfactory research progress and availability of funding. Postdoctoral appointments may not exceed five years. The work must be performed in person at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option.
