About The Position

The Eissa lab at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics. The position focuses on collecting, analyzing, and modeling intracranial neural recordings from epilepsy patients performing cognitive tasks. The fellow will develop recording and processing pipelines across institutions, run behavioral tasks with patients, analyze and model data, communicate findings, create figures, and write papers. The role also involves collaborating with principal investigators and other stakeholders, identifying and implementing laboratory solutions and techniques, and providing expertise and leadership in research design, study oversight, data management, analysis, and manuscript preparation across research disciplines. The lab is part of a multidisciplinary, collaborative department with opportunities to interact with biophysics, physiology, sensory systems, behavior and decision-making, and computational and translational neuroscience groups. This position is expected to work onsite at the Aurora, Colorado campus.
