Post Doctoral Fellow
About The Position
The Post Doctoral Fellow will be part of several research projects at the intersection of machine learning (ML), computer vision (CV), multimodal AI, healthcare, and robotics in a highly-active research group. This position will also assist in managing the research lab and several ongoing research projects, mentoring students, and contributing to writing research grants for future grants and funding. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field from an accredited institution of higher education, conferred by the start of employment
Nice To Haves
- Strong research background in machine learning, computer vision, and/or robotics
- Strong publication record, preferably including first-author papers at top-tier venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ICRA, MICCAI, or comparable conferences/journals
- Strong programming skills due to hands-on experience
- Ability to independently formulate research problems, develop methods, conduct experiments, and prepare high-quality research publications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
