The Agroecology Lab at the University of Maryland invites applications for a Post-doctoral Associate to work on the Options to Adapting to Rising Seas (OARS) project, which is focused on developing a decision support tool for woodlot owners in Maryland who are experiencing coastal stressors like saltwater intrusion and sea level rise. The Post-doctoral Associate will join a team of interdisciplinary researchers working to significantly improve the resilience and well-being of coastal communities in the Mid-Atlantic. This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize quantitative environmental science research methods to help bridge the gap between science, practice, and policy.
