About The Position
The postdoctoral associate will be responsible for the preparation, characterization, and evaluation of inorganic catalysts.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
- Experience in the synthesis and characterization of inorganic materials and catalysts
- Must be a US citizen (including naturalized)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the use of gas chromatography, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, surface area measurements, and other analytical techniques
- Experience with chemisorption and temperature-programmed experiments (TPD, TPO, TPR)
Responsibilities
- Preparation, characterization, and evaluation of inorganic catalysts.
- Write scientific reports.
- Prepare Power Point presentations and give oral presentations.
- Be responsible with confidential research data and proprietary information that are governed by US Export Control laws.
