About The Position
The purpose of this position is to conduct research and manage the laboratory of Dr. Hermann von Grafenstein.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in chemistry
- Significant experience in designing and running NMR and mass spectrometry experiments, including kinetic studies on hydrogen-deuterium exchange
- Experience in recombinant DNA technology including primer design, plasmid engineering and protein expression
Nice To Haves
- Ability to plan and implement novel experimental approaches based on thorough literature searches
- Ability to guide junior laboratory members such as undergraduate and graduate students who join the laboratory as interns or perform research projects
