This position's primary function is to utilize training in structural biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology to design and execute experiments related to an NIH-sponsored research project in the lab. The role involves collecting and assembling data for presentations, independently developing and testing scientific hypotheses, and performing or delegating experimental procedures. The Post Doc will analyze results and independently prepare oral and written reports for the Principal Investigator (PI), including abstracts, manuscripts, grant proposals, and data reports for grants and presentations. They will also perform routine and complex procedures, analyze data, and present results coherently. Interaction with co-workers, visitors, and other staff is expected to be consistent with iSCORE values.
