The Wolfe laboratory is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to develop therapeutic genome editing reagents for muscular dystrophies and cancer. This role involves developing prime editing reagents for precise correction of Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy mutations, creating genome editing reagents for selective cancer cell killing, utilizing unbiased genome-wide techniques to assess off-target events, and translating these reagents to clinical application through in vivo safety and efficacy studies in mouse models. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge genome editor engineering, in vivo reagent delivery via lipid nanoparticles, and deep-sequencing approaches for evaluating off-target editing. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to participate in meetings and conferences related to genome editing and gene therapy.
