About The Position
The Department of Medicine, in collaboration with the Palliative Care & Hospice Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking a Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician. This open-rank, fixed-term position involves clinical care combined with expertise in clinical research or quality improvement. The physician will have opportunities to lead in clinical research with access to resources, mentoring, and collaboration. The position can be placed within sub-specialty divisions of the Department of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, or Department of Emergency Medicine. Academic appointment will align with the physician's specialty and subspecialty in conjunction with the Palliative Care & Hospice Program. The starting salary will be commensurate with experience and includes a generous benefits package and incentive plan from the School of Medicine.
