The Instructional Technology Fellow (Post‑Baccalaureate) works with the Research and Instructional Technology Group (RITG) to support teaching and learning at Pomona College. Designed for recent graduates, this fellowship‑style appointment combines hands‑on instructional technology work with structured mentorship, professional development, and opportunities for reflective practice and portfolio building. It is well suited for individuals interested in educational technology, instructional design, digital pedagogy, or academic support in higher education. In addition to contributing to instructional technology projects, the Fellow plays a key coordination role within RITG by helping organize, document, and review student team work. The position works closely with full‑time instructional technologists and student staff, offering experience in project coordination, mentorship, and collaborative academic support. Over the course of the appointment, the Fellow will take on increasing responsibility for projects, develop an area of interest or specialization (e.g., accessibility, digital pedagogy, instructional media, or documentation design), and contribute original work informed by mentorship and feedback.
