Mindrift is recruiting native Portuguese speakers who grew up in Portugal for a paid, in-person research study in Midtown Manhattan. The study examines how people use phones, apps, and everyday digital tools, and how those practices differ across languages and cultures. Participants will share how they use their devices in daily life to help researchers understand the needs of Portuguese speakers and inform future products. Participants will spend 1–3 days with the research team, walk the team through their phone and favorite apps, share examples of everyday phone activity they choose to include, and complete a short questionnaire about their habits. Participation is voluntary and covered by a signed consent form; participants may ask questions and stop at any time. Compensation is $1,200–$1,600 for the full study. To apply, register on Mindrift and complete a short screening questionnaire. Shortlisted participants will be told their session dates.
