Earn up to $1,600 - 3-Day Polish Language Study in NYC
About The Position
Mindrift is recruiting native Polish speakers living in New York City for a paid, in-person research study in Midtown Manhattan. The study explores how people use phones, apps, and everyday digital tools, and how those habits differ across languages and cultures. Participants will spend 1–3 days with the research team, demonstrate their everyday phone and app use, share examples of phone activity they choose to include, and complete a short questionnaire. Participation is voluntary and covered by a signed consent form; participants may ask questions and stop at any time. The full study offers compensation of $1,200–$1,600. Applicants should register on Mindrift and complete a screening questionnaire. Shortlisted participants will be notified of their session dates.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old and currently live in New York City.
- Be a native Polish speaker who grew up in Poland.
- Use Polish in everyday life, such as texting friends, email, or notes.
- Have used a smartphone as your main personal phone for at least 3 years.
- Be comfortable communicating in English.
- Be available for 3 consecutive days, Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday; the posting states a start date of October 16 on Friday.
- Not currently be employed by a technology or AI company.

Responsibilities
- Spend 1–3 days with the research team in Midtown Manhattan.
