Mindrift is recruiting native German speakers who grew up in Germany and currently live in New York City for a paid, in-person research study in Midtown Manhattan. The study explores how people use phones, apps, and everyday digital tools across different languages and cultures. Participants will spend 1–3 days with the research team, demonstrate how they use their phone and favorite apps in everyday life, share examples of phone activity they choose to include, and complete a short questionnaire about their habits. Participation is voluntary and covered by a signed consent form. Participants may ask questions at any point and may stop whenever they choose. The posting describes the study as three days and asks for availability for three consecutive days, either Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday. It also states that sessions start October 16 on Friday. Compensation is $1,200–$1,600 for the full study. To apply, register on Mindrift and complete a short screening questionnaire; session dates will be confirmed for shortlisted applicants.
