About The Position

The Portfolio Retail Channel Manager is an account leader responsible for commercial pull-through performance and corporate relationship management across the retail pharmacy channel for GSK’s total product portfolio. The role has two complementary areas of accountability: driving pull-through execution at major national retail chains and owning corporate-level relationships and account strategy for smaller regional retail chains. It manages the retail channel as an enterprise asset, with Brand teams as internal customers. The manager develops account-specific plans to improve dispensing performance, leads business reviews with major chain pharmacy trade affairs and clinical pharmacy teams, and identifies and resolves system-level dispensing barriers. For regional chains, the role leads enterprise joint business planning, closes access gaps, and develops pharmacy staff engagement programs. The manager also builds performance dashboards and conducts reviews to diagnose performance gaps and implement interventions. This field-based role works with Brand, Payer Access, and Ops teams, providing retail channel intelligence and aligning pull-through investment with formulary access outcomes. The territory is described as Mid-West, with Illinois and Michigan priority markets; the posting also lists the role as field based (National). Travel is 50%.
