About The Position

ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac is seeking a full-time Porter to work at its dealership in Ballwin, Missouri. Porters/Detailers clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, transport vehicles around the lot, and assist with other assigned duties. The dealership describes its work environment as established and professional. Porters are members of the Local 618 Teamsters Union, and monthly dues are required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with regular daytime hours and full benefits.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
No drug- or alcohol-related driving conviction, including DUI/DWI, in the past three years.
Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug screening test.
Must be at least 17 years old.
Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds and perform extensive walking, standing, and crouching.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Responsibilities

Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, with a brush, or using washing equipment.
Polish, dry, and clean windshields, windows, lights, and mats; vacuum vehicle interiors by hand.
Make key tags for incoming vehicles.
Transport vehicles safely and without damage around the dealership lot.
May assist with local automobile deliveries.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties, such as cleaning the lot and emptying trash.
Perform other duties as assigned.
