About The Position

Lithia Body & Paint is hiring a Detailer/Porter to support its collision repair team and help deliver a positive customer experience. This role prepares and cleans vehicles, restores their appearance, checks completed repairs for quality, and helps keep the parking lot and work area organized. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour and up, depending on experience. Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and have a valid driver’s license in their state of residence with an acceptable driving record. The workplace is drug-free. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner and assist them promptly and professionally.
Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including engines and engine compartments.
Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects and restore the appearance of engine areas, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces.
Prepare and apply vehicle protection packages.
Complete work assignments according to applicable safety measures.
Restore vehicles to new or like-new condition to the best of your ability.
Review repairs before delivering vehicles to customers to ensure quality of work.
Bring issues with work performed to the attention of a supervisor.
Maintain a neat and organized parking lot and a clean, organized work area.
