About The Position

Lithia Body & Paint is hiring a Detailer/Porter to support its professional collision repair team and help deliver a positive customer experience. The role involves greeting customers, preparing vehicles arriving for service, cleaning and restoring vehicles, applying vehicle protection packages, checking completed repairs, and keeping the parking lot and work area organized. Work must be completed according to applicable safety measures. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum age of 18, a valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
Acceptable driving record.
Strong attention to detail.
Sense of urgency.
Excellent communication.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and courteous manner, assisting them promptly and professionally.
Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
Clean vehicle exteriors and interiors, including engines and engine compartments.
Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects and restore the appearance of engine areas, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces.
Prepare and apply vehicle protection packages.
Complete work assignments according to applicable safety measures.
Restore vehicles to new or like-new condition to the best of one's ability.
Review repairs before delivering vehicles to customers and bring any concerns about the work performed to a supervisor's attention.
Maintain a neat and organized parking lot and a clean, organized work area.
