About The Position

Castle Buick GMC is hiring a part-time Porter. The role offers an opportunity to gain experience in the automotive industry. The Porter maintains vehicle inventory appearance and performance, keeps dealership lots orderly, moves and delivers vehicles, and supports other dealership needs. Compensation is $15–$18 per hour, based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from the displayed amounts.

Requirements

• Ability to work assigned hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional attitude and ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.
• Reliable transportation to and from work every day.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of automotive dealership operations is a plus.
• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident and outgoing personality, and eagerness to improve.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, replenish fluids as needed, and replace batteries when necessary.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed.
• Make key tags and handle vehicle inventory.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
