About The Position

Planned Companies Building Services is hiring a part-time Porter to help maintain clean, healthy, and safe residential and commercial properties for tenants, guests, and vendors. The role involves common-area and bathroom cleaning, with an emphasis on being polite, respectful, thorough, and observant of opportunities to improve service.

The scheduled hours are Monday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for a total of 20 hours per week. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products and equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Ability to work on a team and independently when needed.
• Strong report-writing and clear verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
• Strip, buff, and wax floors of various types.
• Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and wash and dry windows.
• Request cleaning supply orders and report breakages and needed repairs.
• Assist building management with projects and perform other job duties as requested.
