About The Position

The part-time Porter assists with in-store execution and customer service, including transfers. The role maintains clean and organized store and clearance center areas, supports product stocking and advertising displays, performs general facilities maintenance, and helps customers with merchandise and store inquiries. The Porter may travel to other stores or clearance centers as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Keep bathrooms, sales floors, and windows clean by dusting, mopping, sweeping, and washing.
• Keep pillows and Protect-A-Beds stocked and organized.
• Assist with displaying advertisements.
• Maintain and organize clearance centers and/or stores.
• Perform general facilities maintenance.
• Unload transfers and place them in designated areas with proper bagging.
• Travel to other stores or clearance centers as needed.
• Greet customers in a timely manner.
• Answer the phone as needed.
• Load customer merchandise and secure it if desired.
