About The Position

The Cook is a key member of the restaurant team, responsible for preparing and presenting quality food to guests. The role supports a convenient, one-stop dining experience for travelers and works in a team environment focused on customer service. Duties include food preparation and cooking, following guest specifications and plate presentation guides, completing food-safety and temperature records, maintaining equipment, and following safety and waste-control procedures. The employee may also perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Previous food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.

• Set up broiler, fryer, and grill stations according to line check sheets.

• Complete prep, freezer pull, and temperature checklist sheets.
• Follow safe food handling, storage, and waste-control procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations involving team members or customers.
• Maintain equipment according to operating standards.
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs.
• Build strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
