About The Position

The Cook is a key member of the restaurant team, responsible for preparing and presenting quality food to guests. The role supports a convenient, one-stop dining experience for travelers and works in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.

The Cook performs food preparation and grill-cooking tasks, follows recipes and presentation specifications, completes food-safety and temperature documentation, and maintains equipment and safe work practices. The position may also include other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

• Previous food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Set up broiler, fryer, and grill stations according to line check sheets.
• Prepare products to guest specifications and follow plate presentation guides.
• Complete prep, freezer pull, and temperature checklist sheets.
• Follow safe food handling, food storage, and waste control procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members or customers.
• Maintain equipment according to operating standards.
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs.
• Build strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
