Pool Operator Maintenance Tech
About The Position
We are growing and need someone to help keep our pools running with optimal uptime and minimal downtime. The team's mission is to ensure that every person, regardless of age or ability, has the opportunity to become a safe and happy swimmer. This program saves lives, literally. They teach all ages, from 3 months to adults, and have a special place in their heart for special needs swimmers, helping them learn to save themselves in the water. The company is looking for someone with a positive, can-do work ethic to join their fun and very talented team. Hours/shifts are flexible.
Requirements
- Fundamental maintenance knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Examples of making something out of nothing
- Good judgement
- Ability to drive between pools
- Physical ability to lift 100 lbs
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexible availability
- A positive, contributive work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with pools, preferably commercial
- Certified Pool Operator valid certification (preferred but not required, will be required to get it post hire)
Responsibilities
- Keep pools running with optimal uptime and minimal downtime
- Troubleshoot pool maintenance issues
- Address issues as they arise by driving between pools
