About The Position

We are looking for experienced bartenders to join the Zota Beach Resort. The Pool Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to resort guests in a fast-paced outdoor pool environment. This role prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, delivers friendly and engaging guest experiences, and ensures compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations. The Pool Bartender maintains a clean, organized, and inviting bar area while promoting resort amenities and contributing to a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere for guests. Success in this position requires excellent customer service skills, product knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during peak periods while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience preferred, ideally in a resort, hotel, beach club, or high-volume hospitality environment.
Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must meet legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages and obtain required certifications.
Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work in a warm outdoor environment and maintain a high level of energy throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to resort standards.
Provide outstanding guest service and create a welcoming poolside experience.
Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local laws.
Accurately process orders, handle payments, and maintain cash accountability.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar and surrounding service areas.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking and replenishing supplies.
Work closely with pool servers, food runners, and other resort team members to ensure timely service.
Promote resort food, beverage, and special event offerings to enhance guest satisfaction.
Adhere to all safety, health, and company policies and procedures.
