About The Position

Westlake Village Inn is looking for a Pool Bartender to join their team for the season. This role is the face of their poolside experience — creating drinks, keeping the bar running smoothly, and making sure every guest feels taken care of while they relax by the pool.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Prior bartending experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work weekends, including holidays, based on business needs
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs (kegs, cases, ice)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at the pool bar
• Check IDs and follow all responsible alcohol service practices
• Take orders, process payments, and keep accurate tabs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area throughout the shift
• Monitor guests for signs of overconsumption and handle situations professionally
• Restock inventory and communicate supply needs to management
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Provide friendly, attentive service that reflects the Inn's standard of hospitality
• Adjust to shifting business levels, including slower or busier shifts depending on occupancy and weather
