About The Position

The Barback is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper stock behind the bar while helping provide a best-in-class guest experience. The role supports bar staff by keeping the bar organized and helping maintain an efficient flow of service throughout the shift. The position is at the goodtime hotel, a mixed-use project in Miami Beach.

Requirements

One year of previous experience in a similar role.
Adequate communication skills to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
Patience in dealing with guests.
Evening shift availability.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Request, pick, verify, and put away requisitions for liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, and food items used for the bar areas.
Stock bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware, and condiments.
Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.
Complete all side opening and closing duties.
Respond positively to guest problems and issues to help ensure guest satisfaction.
Follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies and comply with regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Attend to customer needs with a friendly and professional attitude.
Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
