Political Intern
About The Position
POOLHOUSE, a Republican political and advertising agency, is looking for smart, driven and eager interns to join our team this summer. Our 10-week paid summer internship is a full-time program for rising college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who want to get their foot in the door in Republican politics, want a front row seat to learn how winning campaign TV and digital ads are made, and are excited to work on marquee political campaigns for candidates across the country. Interns will work closely with the political department for the length of the program, gaining hands-on experience, direct mentorship, and day-to-day exposure to how a political consulting, communications and advertising agency operates.
Requirements
- Rising college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates.
- Strong interest in Republican politics, campaigns, public affairs, or political communications.
- Go-getting attitude and self-starters.
- Strong writers.
- Familiarity with or a keen interest in developing skills in digital media, communications, advertising, or design.
- Politically engaged, eager to learn, dependable, and self-starters.
- Must be available for a full-time, 10-week in person program running from June 1, 2026 to August 7, 2026.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must attach a resume and cover letter explaining why they’d like to work at POOLHOUSE.
