The Policy Compliance Assistant, reporting directly to the Assistant Deputy Superintendent overseeing Policy and Compliance, will support the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office in various aspects of policy management and audit preparation. This role involves assisting with audits from the Department of Correction, Department of Public Health, and the American Correctional Association, including documentation collection and file preparation. The assistant will also help develop follow-up action plans, conduct internal audits to identify non-compliance issues with regulations and policies, and coordinate policy reviews and updates within the PowerDMS system. Additionally, the position provides operational support to other Compliance Unit staff.
