Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of relevant experience
Accuracy in typing
Ability to navigate various software and tools effectively
Willingness to become certified in BCI and NCIC
May be required to attain certification as a notary public
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality

Responsibilities

Sorting, coding, filing, retrieving, and verifying the receipt of complex and sensitive documents.
Meticulously recording traffic and misdemeanor citations, vehicle compound notices, and traffic accident reports.
Ensuring that all crime reports are updated and maintained accurately.
Entering arrest and citation information into the system.
Guaranteeing the proper delivery of documents related to the legal framework.
Assisting with essential clerical functions within the police department.
