About The Position

This position is within the Department Platoon B at LSU New Orleans. Applicants must have attained their eighteenth birthday at the time of appointment. Individuals convicted of a felony or under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from disabilities is granted. A valid Louisiana driver's license may be required at the time of appointment. Successful candidates may need to complete a Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) course and qualify annually with a firearm. Eligibility for bond may be required for some positions.
