About The Position
The Menifee Police Department is pleased to announce its Lieutenant promotional recruitment. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in criminal justice, police science, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
- Six (6) years (full-time equivalent) of increasingly responsible law enforcement experience as a sworn peace officer, including two years at a supervisory level.
- Possession and maintenance of a valid California POST Basic Certificate.
- Possession of a valid California POST Advanced Certificate.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, and maintain a valid California Driver's License by time of appointment.
- Must currently be employed as a Menifee Peace Officer in good standing and must have successfully completed probation by time of submittal of application.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess U.S. Citizenship at time of appointment.
Nice To Haves
- Possession of a California POST Supervisory Certificate is desirable.
