Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Instructor

Concorde Education•Los Angeles, CA
•$50 - $100•Onsite

About The Position

Concorde Education is seeking independent instructional contractors to lead in-person Pokémon Trading Card Game enrichment programs at partner schools. Programs serve K–12 students, with assignments generally focused on elementary and middle school students and possible opportunities with other grade levels. They are designed to build critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical reasoning, strategic decision-making, communication, and sportsmanship through age-appropriate gameplay. Instructors may introduce game rules and mechanics, teach gameplay strategies, guide deck-building, and facilitate friendly matches and structured activities. Assignment topics, student groups, schedules, duration, materials, and responsibilities vary according to partner school needs. Programs typically run approximately 8–10 weeks, with about 1–4 instructional hours per week, primarily after school. Opportunities are rolling throughout the school year, and no minimum number of assignments or hours is guaranteed. This is a potential independent contractor engagement, not an employee position. Compensation generally starts at $50+ per completed instructional hour; the specific rate depends on the assignment, location, qualifications, and program requirements. The posting also lists a salary range of $50–$100 per hour. Formal teaching certification is not required. Final engagement depends on assignment availability, qualifications, agreed compensation, required clearances, and written confirmation.
