Point of Care Coordinator - Full Time

About The Position
The Point of Care Coordinator performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards, along with related duties as assigned. The position reports directly to the POC Lab Supervisor and ultimately to the Executive Director of Laboratory Services for Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City. The coordinator must be comfortable with point-of-care technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a chemical, physical, or biological science.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist by ASCP or equivalent.
- Those acquiring initial certification after January 1, 2004, must maintain certification status as required by ASCP.
- Must be comfortable with point-of-care technology.
Nice To Haves
- At least five years of laboratory work experience is preferred.
