About The Position

An in-depth exploration of selected issues of current interest in Global South politics. This class will draw on case studies from nations and regions undergoing political challenges and transformations, investigating the roots of change as well as assessing responses.

Requirements

  • PhD in Political Science, International Development, or related discipline.
  • Internal member of the CTF bargaining unit.
  • Submission of a CV.
  • Submission of a Candidate Application Form (CAF).
  • Verification of highest degree (for external applicants, though this posting is internal).
  • Evidence of Good Teaching (for external applicants, though this posting is internal).

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course PO471: Politics in the Global South: Emerging Issues.
  • Conduct lectures/seminars for the course.
  • Assess student applications, including CVs, Candidate Application Forms, and potentially other submitted documents.
  • Manage class registration and budgetary funding for the course.
