Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
  • Expert knowledge of equipment, practices, procedures, and concepts in pumps and motor maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Preplan outages at customer sites up to three months in advance related to replacement and repair of pumps and motor equipment for nuclear reactors.
  • Establish outage goals and maintain communication with the customer including upper management daily.
  • Handle work orders related to scope of work as needed.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and certification documents.
  • Develop maintenance procedures, problem reports, field schedules, and task close out reports, as needed.
  • Participate in planning and executing projects; assist in preparation of proposal and procurement documents.
  • Comply with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.
