About The Position

The PM Room Attendant cleans and stocks guest rooms to meet HEI Hotels and Resorts’ cleanliness standards. The role includes cleaning guest-room surfaces and bathrooms, changing linens, replenishing supplies, using cleaning equipment and agents, and inspecting rooms after cleaning. The attendant must follow cleaning procedures, maintain regular attendance, work cooperatively with coworkers, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, reach overhead to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.
Willingness to help coworkers and work as part of a team.
Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

Responsibilities

Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
Follow procedures and instructions for using cleaning agents.
Strip beds and replace linens, including lifting bedspreads weighing up to 50 pounds.
Thoroughly dust furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves.
Vacuum rooms and empty trash.
Replenish guest-room amenities, linens, and supplies.
Sign for and retrieve room keys, take them to assigned rooms, and restock the heavy cart.
Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and appearance and indicate when cleaning is complete.
Follow attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
Help coworkers with their duties and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
