About The Position

A PM Mechanic/Helper performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to carry out routine maintenance and repairs. The position supports drivers and works on a single fleet with advanced equipment, with opportunities to receive training on new technologies and equipment and develop professionally.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repair.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Perform vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments.
• Change oil and replenish fluids.
• Perform adjustments and light repairs, including tire changes.
• Perform basic electrical work, such as changing lights.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and use tools to identify sources of malfunctions.
• Complete applicable company training programs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
