Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous mechanical or construction experience is advantageous but not required.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel for out-of-town assignments.
• Commitment to safety protocols.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, comfort working at heights, and ability to work in varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, and exterior conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing elevators and lifts by helping assemble, align, and secure components.
• Support routine inspections and preventive maintenance to help ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Help diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Prepare and maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure tools and materials are readily available.
• Help document maintenance activities, parts used, and issues encountered during service calls.
