About The Position

The PM Janitorial Specialist maintains warehouse work areas in clean, organized, hygienic, and safe condition. The role is responsible for cleaning assigned areas to established standards, using company-provided cleaning products, tools, and equipment, and following company safety, hygiene, and cleaning procedures. The position involves remaining on foot for most of the shift, moving throughout the warehouse, and handling materials weighing up to 50 pounds when needed.

Requirements

• Remain standing for most of the work shift.
• Walk and move throughout the warehouse and assigned work areas.
• Bend, kneel, reach, stretch, and perform repetitive movements associated with cleaning duties.
• Lift, move, and handle items or materials weighing up to 50 pounds (23 kg) when necessary.
• Perform cleaning duties safely and efficiently throughout the scheduled shift.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.
• Follow instructions and established procedures.
• Work independently.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude.
• Commit to high standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned warehouse work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Sweep and mop floors and keep them in proper condition.
• Collect and remove trash and waste from assigned areas.
• Clean walls and other surfaces, paying attention to dust and dirt accumulation.
• Keep lockers in the assigned area clean and hygienic.
• Perform general cleaning duties according to departmental needs.
• Move and organize items or materials as needed to complete cleaning duties.
• Report conditions that may present cleanliness, hygiene, or safety concerns.
• Use company-provided cleaning products, tools, and equipment properly.
• Follow company safety, hygiene, and cleaning procedures.
