About The Position
Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is hiring for evening housekeeping roles, including PM Public Area Attendant, PM House Attendant, and PM Housekeeping. The position helps maintain the hotel’s cleanliness and appearance while providing friendly, personalized service and building relationships that encourage guests to return. The role may also involve responsibilities outside the specific duties listed, as needed.
Requirements
- One year of customer service experience or experience in a similar position.
- Passion for customer service and good verbal communication skills.
- Basic writing skills.
- Flexible schedule, with ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma is preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Keep the lobby, hallways, public areas, sidewalk, brass awning poles, signage, entrance, and alley clean.
- Clean and set up meeting rooms according to function sheets.
- Deep clean assigned areas, including shampooing rooms and public spaces.
- Set up and maintain complimentary lobby functions, including morning coffee service and nightly concierge events.
- Deliver requested housekeeping items, such as hair dryers, ironing boards, and irons, to guest rooms.
- Collect assignments, keys, pager, and special guest requests from a supervisor at the beginning of the shift.
- Check and replenish supplies and cleaning tools.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
- Return lost items to the Housekeeping Department with proper documentation.
- Take on other responsibilities outside the listed duties as needed.
