About The Position

The PM Cook prepares and cooks a variety of dishes with precision and attention to detail as part of the culinary team at The Highland Dallas, a luxury boutique hotel. The role contributes to memorable guest dining experiences by producing delicious, visually appealing meals that meet the property’s quality and presentation standards. The cook follows recipes and cooking techniques, maintains a clean and organized kitchen, and complies with food safety and sanitation regulations. This position works in a fast-paced environment and involves collaborating with the culinary team, including developing menu items and specials, while remaining willing to learn from and take direction from senior chefs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
